Vastu Main Gate Tips

The main gate of the house has a significant role. This is the path from where the energies continuously comes in and goes out. The entrance must be maintained by extreme care and its direction must be appropriate for getting utmost benefits. Entrance must be set up on a holy day after Vastu puja. The placement of the entrance is very significant. You can think as you are in front of your house and separate the frontage into two equal parts vertically. The main door must be located at the middle. It may be in the left side or in the right side. It depends on the way the door is facing.

You can get continuous sun light for whole day if you place window towards North. Southern Western side must be avoided because the sun stays there at afternoon.

Northern wall of the plot will be the ideal place for main gate. If you place it at the Northern Eastern or Eastern side it is ok. You always keep clean at the entrance. Obstacles must be avoided in front of the entrance. Obstacles in main gate are known as a Veda, it’s not holy for residents. Garbage is not to be allowed at the entrance.

Water tank and septic tank or canal is not allowed under the entrance of the house. Building’s lift must not be face in straight of the main gate. A very good quality of wood is preferable for main gate. And black is not allowed for painting the main gate.

Its door must be stronger, larger and heavier than the others. Abandoned or destroyed building must be avoided in front of main gate.

If you decorate your house’s main gate with images of Ganesha, Lakshmi or Kubera or any holy signs like the Swastika or OM it has good effect. Entrance gate must be maintained in right way so that it must not create a screechy noise.

The land of the house must not be placed on T point of road. Shoes must be kept side of the door. You can’t keep them in front of the door. The door must not be leaning or circular in shape. Northern Eastern or Eastern side door is the sign of knowledge and fame. When the door is in the Southern side of the house it’s the sign of happiness. If your door is at the Northern direction of the house, it does well for your family. Northern Eastern side door is the sign of fortunate and wealthy family.
